Oyster dredging licensing, Blacksod Bay, Co Mayo, 2027 to 2032
Inland Fisheries Ireland is considering the issuing of licenses to dredge certain areas of Blacksod Bay in Co. Mayo for oysters between 2027 and 2032 and wish to consult the public on this.
Following the completion of the public and statutory consultation, IFI will decide to issue the licenses with conditions or to not issue the licenses.
A person may make a submission or observation in respect of this licensing within 30 days of the date of this notice by emailing ballina@fisheriesireland.ie or in writing to The Director, Inland Fisheries Ireland, Ardnaree House, Abbey Street, Ballina, Co Mayo, F26 KO29 before 13 November 2026.
