Commercial trout netting, Lough Ree, counties Roscommon, Longford and Westmeath, 2027 to 2031
Inland Fisheries Ireland is considering the issuing of annual licenses for draft netting of Trout in Lough Ree between 2027 and 2031 and wish to consult the public on this.
Following the completion of the public and statutory consultation, IFI will decide to issue the licenses with conditions or to not issue the licenses.
A person may make a submission or observation in respect of this licensing within 30 days of the date of this notice by emailing limerick@fisheriesireland.ie or in writing to The Director, Inland Fisheries Ireland, Ashbourne Business Park, Dock Road, Limerick, V94 NPE0, before 20 November 2026.
