Education and Outreach

Through learning we promote conservation, sustainability and encourage environmental stewardship.

Education and Outreach is an integral part of our work and allows us to engage in a meaningful way with our stakeholders. Broadly speaking, it involves getting more people aware of fish, fishing and their local environment. Through learning we promote conservation, sustainability and encourage environmental stewardship. Our aim is to make angling accessible to all, especially novices.

Programmes

Developing a fishing programme or event depends on the users. Ideally we like to work with groups that have already formed and want to try or learn more about angling.  A try fishing event is a one off event to see if fishing is for you.  Go fishing goes into more detail and this can involve online and outdoors and a blend of both.
