Fishery for Tender: Emy Lough

Public Notice

Fishery for Tender: Emy Lough

Inland Fisheries Ireland would like to invite tenders for the fishing rights on State Fishery 23/4, Emy Lough, in the townlands of Tiramoan, Killycooley, Emy, Derrygasson Lower and Portinaghy in the Barony of Trough, Co. Monaghan, approximately 1km east of Emyvale.

The lough has previously been licenced and run as a stocked trout fishery and interested parties are invited to outline how they would manage and develop the fishery for the duration of the licence term sought (maximum 5 years).

The ethos of State fisheries is to make angling accessible to as many as possible. For that reason, part of the licence agreement stipulates that tickets must be made readily available by the licencing club or organisation to visiting anglers. These should be made available in local tackle shops, through accommodation providers and directly through a club committee member. Contact details and locations for buying tickets should also be advertised on a signpost erected by the club on the fishery itself.

To tender for the fishing rights on Emy Lough please fill out the linked application form:  Condition of Tender May 2019

Tenders will be accepted up until June 7th 2019 and the licence term will begin on June 18th; proof of postage on or before this date will be accepted.

Please mark your envelope TENDER APPLICATION and send it to:
