Conservation of Salmon and Sea Trout River Feale (inc Galey and Brick) Bye law No. 919, 2014

Public Notice

This Bye-law provides for catch and release in angling of salmon and sea trout (over 40cms) in the River Feale including the Galy and Brick during the 1st March to 11th May, 2014 and a bag limit of 4 fish during the period of 12th May to 30th September subject to a daily limit of 1 fish during this period. The Bye-Law also prohibits the use of worms as bait and any fish hooks, other than single barbless hooks in angling for salmon and sea trout (over 40cms) up to 11th May and also from 12th May onwards once the permitted limit had been reached in those waters.
