Inland Fisheries Ireland is seeking expressions of interest from trade members wishing to attend this general angling promotional opportunity which takes place in Berlin, Germany from Friday 27 November to Sunday 29 November 2026.

Angelwelt Berlin is the leading trade fair on the trendy topic of angling in Germany and has established itself as the most popular meeting place for sport and leisure anglers at both national and international level in Europe. This will be Ireland’s 7th time attending the Angelwelt expo. The event is dedicated to all types of fishing (pike, coarse, game and sea) with the main emphasis being on lure fishing in both fresh and saltwater and has become Europe’s biggest angling expo. There will also be flyfishing and boating sections. 

This promotional show has a general angling audience and provides industry members with a great platform to promote the Irish angling product to German anglers in Germany’s capital city Berlin. 

The “Angling Ireland Stand” stand will measure circa 16m2 and exhibitors will have their own table and seating. Please note that there is no provision for partner displays, banners, backdrops or pop-up stands.

Exhibitor using audio visual displays must ensure they have an appropriate licence to play any music that is featured in their presentation. Unlicensed use of copyrighted music may result in extra fees/fines from the national copyright protection organisation.

Please ensure that you bring your “Angling Ireland” pull up banner with you! Further information on this may be obtained from the contact above. If you don’t have any “Angling Ireland “ branded banners etc. please let us know.

The stand will have its own electricity supply for laptops and other electronic devices. Please note that a different plug (adapter) is required for Germany. It is recommended that participants have a supply of high-quality promotional material as well as costed/priced fishing packages mainly in German, but English may also be requested. An ability to converse in German with visitors to the stand is desirable but not essential as assistance can be provided by other stand members. The show runs from 10.00 to 18.00 every day. Please note that submitting an expression of interest does not guarantee a place. If demand exceeds availability, selection criteria - such as market experience, language skills, the quality of promotional materials, and previous commitment to the market - will be used to allocate stand spaces. IFI reserve the right to make the final decision on attendance. All travel and accommodation arrangements related to the show are the sole responsibility of the individual exhibitors.
