The project is currently at Phase 1 Feasibility Study and Option Selection. Consultants have been appointed to progress the combined Pallis Weir and Bridge barrier mitigation project. Initial ecological site assessments are planned for summer 2026.

Consultation between IFI and UE is ongoing on the most appropriate solution for mitigation of the weir.
