June 14th, 2015 - Fish mortalities at Carrigadrohid Resevoir

Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI) in conjunction with Cork County Council are investigating fish mortalities at Carrigadrohid Reservoir in County Cork following the discovery of small numbers of bream and rudd. As yet no cause has been identified. Water and fish samples are being collected for further analysis.

IFI has a 24 hour confidential hotline number to enable members of the general public to report incidents - 1890 34 74 24 or 1890 FISH 24. This phone line is designed to encourage the reporting of incidents of illegal fishing, water pollution and invasive species. For more information, visit www.fisheriesireland.ie.
