The fourth edition of the Pêche Expo fair will open its doors on 11 and 12 November 2023 in the Libramont Exhibition & Congress facilities, at the heart of a region laced with streams and rivers and with an abundance of ponds and man-made lakes. Pêche Expo is organised by the Libramont fair, in partnership with the Maison de la Pêche of Luxembourg, the Maison Wallonne de la Pêche and with the support of the Province of Luxembourg, Wallonia. This will be Irelands first time attending the Pêche Expo angling show. This Salon is dedicated to all types of fishing with the main emphasis being on freshwater fishing such as pike, trout and coarse angling. No doubt salmon angling will be of interest to a small number of anglers.

This promotional show has a general angling audience and provides industry members with a new platform to promote the Irish angling product to Belgian anglers in this region. However, because of its location the show may attract visitors from much further afield. This salon also provides great marketing and networking opportunities for trade partners to develop new business and meet important influencers in the Belgian market.

For our first show, the “Pêche en Irlande” stand will measure circa 9m2 and exhibitors will have their own table and seating. Please note that there is no provision for partner displays, banners, backdrops or pop-up stands. Please ensure that you bring your “Pêche en Irlande” pull up banner with you! The stand will have its own electricity supply for laptops and other electronic devices. Please note that a different plug (adapter) is required for Belgium It is recommended that the participants have a supply of high-quality promotional material as well as costed/priced fishing packages mainly in French but English and Dutch may also be requested. An ability to converse in French with visitors to the stand is desirable but not essential as some assistance can be provided by other stand members. The show runs from 10.00 to 18.00 on Saturday 11th and Sunday the 12th November 2023. Please note that expressions of interest do not infer the guarantee a place and criteria such as market experience, language skills and quality of promotional material and previous commitment to the market may be used as deciding factors when allocating stand spaces.
