The project is currently at Phase 4 Detailed design. The Consultant will utilise the information contained within the approved planning application to develop the detailed design of the weir removal and river channel restoration. A set of construction drawings and technical specifications are currently being prepared. 

These documents will be developed to facilitate the tender process for the construction phase, which is expected to commence on-site in August 2026.
