Coming Soon - Barrier Mitigation Fund Scheme 3

We are pleased to announce that the Barrier Mitigation Fund Scheme No. 3 will officially launch in early September, and open for expression of interest (EOI).

The scheme will continue to support projects that improve fish passage and river connectivity, helping to remove barriers that prevent fish from accessing important spawning and nursery habitats.

Further information, including application guidance, eligibility criteria and key dates, will be available when the scheme opens.

We encourage anyone considering an application for barrier mitigation to contact Barriers@fisheriesireland.ie and prepare for the expression of interest phase in advance.
