CLARIFICATION
It was brought to IFI’s attention on 16.01.17 that a submission calling for a cessation of pike management to the ‘Pike Management in Designated Wild Brown Trout Fisheries Policy Review’ published on this website under the name of ‘Enda Fields’ had not in fact been submitted by Mr. Fields. While the submission was removed from the website immediately, IFI wish to clarify that Mr. Fields did not make this submission and that his name was associated with it as a result of an error made by IFI during the redaction and publication of the public submissions. IFI wish to apologise for the embarrassment that this error has caused Mr. Fields.

A 136 page document posted under the ‘Presentations from Stakeholder meetings’ section of the ‘Review of Pike Management in Designated Wild Brown Trout Fisheries – Submissions’ website page, titled ‘NARA-IFI Meeting 17.01.17’ has been removed following discussions with NARA.
While 3 pages of the document were notes provided to the Review Group on the 17th January 2017, the document itself was not a NARA submission.
Any inconvenience caused to NARA or its members by this error was unintended and IFI apologises for same.
IFI are pleased to confirm that NARA did not make any submission to the Policy Review Group after the close of the Public Consultation.
