Funding was provided under the Salmon Conservation Fund to assess the status of salmon in selected catchments. There were three separate elements in the 2014 programme - Catchmentwide Electro-Fishing, Development of a raising factor for a partial counter facility and Determination of the life history characteristics of adult salmon in selected catchments.
